Pilot – Custom 823 – Smoke – Fine

Description:

The Pilot Custom 823 is a flagship fountain pen that blends classic design with exceptional performance. Featuring a transparent resin body, vacuum-filling system, and a beautifully responsive 14k gold nib, the Custom 823 offers a smooth, uninterrupted writing experience. Its generous ink capacity and timeless style make it a favorite among serious writers and collectors alike. Housed in an elegant gift box with a bottle of ink included, its a pen made for those who appreciate craftsmanship and substance.

The Pilot Custom 823 uses a vacuum filling mechanism.

Heres how it works:

• You unscrew the plunger knob at the back of the pen and pull the plunger all the way out.

• Then, you submerge the nib in ink and push the plunger down in one smooth motion.

• This creates a vacuum that draws ink into the barrel when the plunger nears the bottom.

This system gives the Custom 823 a very large ink capacity, making it ideal for long writing sessions without frequent refills. It's also a sealed system, which makes it more travel-friendly than some other pens.
