Description:
The LAMY AL-Star is a sophisticated, lightweight fountain pen designed for both beginners and experienced fountain pen enthusiasts. Crafted from durable aluminum, this pen offers a perfect balance of robustness and elegance. Its translucent, triangular grip section is ideal for those new to fountain pens, providing clear guidance on how to hold the pen properly, while also offering a glimpse into the inner workings of the ink feed.
With a sleek design inspired by the popular LAMY Safari, the AL-Star is equipped with a smooth-flowing LZ50 nib that delivers a slightly broader line than typical Western-style nibs. It comes with a blue LAMY ink cartridge to get you started right away, but you can easily switch to your favorite bottled ink with the optional LAMY LZ24/LZ28 converter (sold separately).
The cutout on the barrel lets you monitor your remaining ink supply, adding a practical touch to its aesthetic appeal. Whether you're a fountain pen novice or an experienced writer, the LAMY AL-Star combines functionality, modern style, and a touch of luxury, making it a beloved choice for any pen enthusiast.
Please be aware that all LAMY pens are tested with LAMY blue ink, and as a result, traces of the ink may remain on the feed and nib when shipped to customers.
