Ohto CR01 Ceramic Roller – Matte Wine

Description:

The CR01 is the flagship of OHTO's premium CR (Ceramic Roller) line, and the matte finish is where it really "shines." A smooth, coated aluminum body with brass accents gives the pen real heft and a refined, understated look, while the soft matte texture adds grip and a satisfying feel in hand. Available in four colorways Matte Black, Matte Silver, Matte Wine, and Matte Blue so you can pick the one that fits your style.

Designed and assembled in-house at OHTO's Yuki Plant in Japan, the CR01 is built to last. A secure snap cap closes with a firm, reassuring click, the metal clip has just the right amount of flex, and a rubberized grip section keeps writing comfortable during long sessions.

At the tip is a 0.5mm silicon carbide ceramic ball, paired with OHTO's non-dry C-305 refill so it resists drying out even when left uncapped. The ceramic point gives a writing feel with just the right amount of feedback, not too smooth and not too scratchy, and holds up to far more wear than a standard metal tip. The pen is fully refillable and also accepts other popular rollerball refills, so you're never locked into one brand.
