The Toms Studio 08 Loch Ness Ink (50 ml) is a hauntingly beautiful shade that captures the cold, deep waters of the Scottish Highlands. Neither a pure blue nor a simple grey, Loch Ness is a sophisticated "slate-blue" that shifts with the light. It is an ink designed for those who appreciate the beauty in shadowsan uncompromisingly elegant choice for the modern individualist.
The Toms Studio 08 Loch Ness 50ml Ink is a high-performance, artisanal ink formulated to bring a sense of mystery and weight to every word you write.
Signature Features: The Depth of the Highlands
-
Moody Shading Dynamics: Loch Ness is a master of atmosphere. In a fine nib, it appears as a crisp, professional charcoal-blue. In Flex or Zoom nibs, it reveals its true depth, shading from a dark, stormy iron to a soft, mist-grey blue.
-
Signature 50 ml Glass Architecture: Housed in the heavy-bottomed, architectural glass bottle that defines Toms Studio, this 50 ml supply provides a stable filling experience and a stunning visual presence on your desk.
-
Exceptional Flow Consistency: Engineered to meet the demands of The Studio series, this ink offers a smooth, lubricated flow that ensures instant startup and prevents skipping, even during complex calligraphy.
-
Sophisticated Contrast: While dark enough for daily notes and professional documents, Loch Ness offers a "noticeably sensual" alternative to standard black, providing high legibility with an artistic soul.
-
Sustainable Excellence: Proudly made in the UK, the formula is gentle on your fountain pens and easy to flush, ensuring your tools remain in peak condition for a lifetime.
Experience & Specifications
-
The Perfect Pairing: This ink is the ideal aesthetic match for The Studio in Sage or Lilac, providing a cool, muted palette that is incredibly easy on the eyes.
-
Versatile Performance: Whether you are drafting plans with an Architect nib or practicing flourishes with a Titanium Flex, Loch Ness delivers the reliability and "spirit of the inventor" in every drop.
-
Matte Finish: Dries to a sophisticated, non-reflective matte finish that looks grounded and permanent on fountain pen-friendly paper.
